Cynthia Sánchez is an attorney at Lowrey Parady Lebsack DeFazio, where she represents employees in employment matters, including discrimination, retaliation, and wage and hour disputes.
Cynthia grew up in Manson, Washington. She attended the University of Washington in Seattle, where she earned her B.A. After college, she worked for six years as an immigration paralegal in Seattle, working closely with individuals and families navigating the immigration system. In 2017, she moved to Colorado to attend the University of Colorado Law School. Since earning her law degree, Cynthia has focused her practice on advocating for employees whose rights have been violated in the workplace.
Cynthia’s work is informed by her commitment to bridging the gap between communities and access to justice and creating greater legal empowerment for individuals navigating the legal system. As a native Spanish speaker, she also works to make legal advocacy more accessible to Spanish-speaking clients and communities. Her experience working with immigrant communities before becoming an attorney continues to inform her approach to advocating for clients and helping them understand their rights and legal options.
Cynthia is the President-Elect of the Colorado Hispanic Bar Association, and she previously served as a co-chair of the Colorado Women’s Bar Association Bench Builders Judicial Committee. She also mentors aspiring law students through LAW SCHOOL…Yes We Can and volunteers with the Latinas First Foundation.
Outside of the office, Cynthia enjoys reading and writing poetry, practicing yoga, and exploring Denver’s local coffee shops.
